Vor zwei Wochen hab ich zum letzten Mal geschrieben, ich versuche jetzt einfach wieder Anschluss zu finden :).
Ich war am 25ten also bei der Probe fuer All-State, dort habe ich dann ganz grob die Musik gelernt und meine beiden Zimmergenossen kennen gelernt. Die scheinen beide total nett zu sein und koennen beide natuerlich mega gut singen! Wir singen sogar ein deutsches Stueck *woohoooo*, da musste ich erstmal alle Woerter vorsagen damit wir sie auch ja richtig aussprechen. Mein Lieblingsstueck ist aber Cindy, einfach mal anhoeren: (love it *_*)
Insgesamt gibt es dort drei Choere, die jeweils 6 Lieder auf dem Konzert singen (SSAA -Sopran I, II + Alto I, II; TTBB - Tenor I, II + Bass I, II und SATB, alle Stimmen zusammen). Ich bin im SATB Chor, in dem Chor, in den ich auch wollte *yess*. Das darf man sich naemlich nicht aussuchen. Und ich bin Sopran I. Eine meiner Zimmergenossinnen ist eigentlich Sopran I wurde aber in II eingeordnet. Ich weiss nicht wonach die das bewerten, denn sie ist meeega gut!
Was gibt es denn noch so... ach ja, James geht wieder arbeiten und das ohne jegliche Einschraenkungen. Er freut sich natuerlich aber man merkt, dass es schon ziemlich anstrengend fuer ihn ist!
Jetzt, wo wieder Schnee liegt, muss er vor allem auch noch Ueberstunden arbeiten, wir machen uns so unsere Sorgen weil er ziemlich spaet nachhause kommt, aber wir koennen es ja nciht aendern.
Und ja, ihr habt richtig gehoert, ES LIEGT WIEDER SCHNEE!!! Und die Strassen sind vereist.... deswegen hatten wir heute und gestern keine Schule und ich chill hier nur. Ich hoffe nur, dass es morgen frueh wieder besser ist, denn da gehts ja fuer mich auf nach LOISVILLE!! Ich freu mich schon total. Natuerlich wird es anstrengend, aber ich schaff das schon! Immerhin haben wir ja noch ganze drei Tage zeit zum lernen.
Und jetzt hab ich eiskalt die letzten Wochen uebersprungen und bin schon zu den neuesten Ereignissen gegangen O.O. Also jetzt wirklich noch mal was zu den letzten zwei Wochen:
Ich hatte echt so gut wie gar keine Zeit, wegen Basketball. Jetzt wo sich die Saison ihrem Ende hinneigt, haben wir nochmal richtig viele Spiele. Ich hatte fast jeden Tag eins. Und wenn wir keins hatten, hatte ich natuerlich Training. Unser letztes Heimspiel ist uebrigens am Valentinstag und danach ist Homecoming.
Ich hatte ja geplant zum Homecoming zu gehen, aber ich spare mein Geld lieber fuer Prom!!
Das Kleider shoppen geht jetzt auch so langsam los. Ich habe schon wahnsinnig tolle Kleider gesehen, die meisten sind aber schweineteuer. Ein Date habe ich auch nicht #foreveralone. Aber ich gehe mit ein paar Freunden und ich hoffe das es ziemlich gut wird ;).
Unser Motto haben wir auch vor einer Woche erfahren, es wird.... *trommelwirbel*.....

Den Film habe ich selber noch nie komplett geschaut, sollte ich also vielleicht mal machen ;). Ich weiss nur, dass es alles ganz gross geplant wird und es alles schwarz-gold maessig wird.
Ich bin schon total aufgeregt. Die Zeit vergeht echt wie im Flug. Nicht mehr lange und dann ist Spring Break und dann Prom und dann ist das Schuljahr auch schon wieder vorbei. Wir duerfen uebrigens nur noch zwei Tage wegen Schnee nicht in der Schule sein. Wenn es laenger als das ist, muessen wir das Schuljahr verlaengern, damit haette ich natuerlich kein Problem :P.
Tja Leute was soll ich sagen, so aufregend ist mein Leben nicht. Ich hab viel Spass mit meinen Freunden in der Schule und die meisten Faecher machen Spass (Geschichte und Englisch nciht so aber naaaaja). In Jewelry and Metalsmithing habe ich jetzt mein zweites Projekt angefangen. Ich sag nur so viel, es wird ein Kettenanhaenger mit drei Lagen aus Metall, lasst euch ueberraschen.
Nur zur vollstaendigkeit, in Intro to Fitness bin ich letztens eine Meile in 6.48 Minuten gerannt, weiss nciht ob das gut ist aber damit lag ich im schnellen Bereich.
Chor in der Schule ist okay. Ich finde es immernoch nciht so toll und wuerde es auch naechstes Jahr wenn ich noch da waere nicht nochmal nehmen, aber die Leute sind alle ziemlich cool und dort habe ich auch meine meisten Freunde!
Achso, noch einwas, in einer Zeitschrift meiner Organisation EF ist ein ganz kleiner Beitrag ueber mich :).
Ich habe es uebrigens auch endlich geschafft, mein Zimmer aufzuraeumen *yey me*.Die letzten beiden Samstage habe ich Volleyball gespielt das war auch echt gut. Ich freu mich schon, wenn ich endlich wieder zur Volleyball AG gehen kann wenn ich wieder komme - wenn die dann ueberhaupt noch existiert *grummelgrummel.
Das ist alles was ich dieses mal zu sagen habe, bis auf eine klitzekleine Kleinigkeit:
Ganz genau, ich habe die 20.000 Aufrufe-Marke erreicht. Mittlerweile sind es sogar schon fast 21.000. Ihr glaub gar nicht, wie gluecklich mich das macht. Ich bekomme Lob von Leuten die ich nicht kenne, wie toll sie meinen Blog finden und es ist so gut zu wissen, dass man das hier nicht alles umsonst schreibt, sondern das Leute das auch wirklich lesen und sich fuer mein Leben hier interessieren. Danke Leute, es ist so toll, danke an jedne einzelnen. Ihr alle habt einen schoenen Tag und ich geniesse meine restliche Schulfreie Woche, denn Montag und heute sind Schneetage und die naechsten drei bin ich in Louisville um zu singen, hoffentlich verpass ich nciht so viel.

Guess what I start with! ... Of course, an apology. I am so sorry but I am a busy woman :).
I'll try to remember everything that happened - dang, I should really start writing more often cause I can't remember nothing :D.
Alright, in the last post I told you all about All-State. So, I went to the rehearsal on the 25th and sang through the music for the very first time. I also got to meet my roommates and they both seem to be very nice and they are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. singers. You won't believe it but we even sing a german piece! I had to tell them how to pronounce the words properly, it was so funny, I love it when Americans speak German! But my all-time favorite is Cindy, just listen to it: (love it *_*)
All in all there are three choirs (SSAA -Soprano I, II + Alto I, II; TTBB - Tenor I, II + Bass I, II und SATB, all voices together) and each choir performs six different pieces. I am in the SATB choir, the one I wanted to be in. I got lucky because you don't get to choose the choir. And I am Soprano I. One of my roommates actually is Soprano I but they put her in Soprano II. I don't know why they did that, because she really is a great singer!
What else can I tell y'all... right, James is going to work again without any restrictions. He is very happy about it but you can tell that it is exhausting. Especially now while there is all that snow again, he has to work overtime and we all are very worried about him because he gets home so late but unfortunately we can't change it.
And yes, IT SNOWED AGAIN! And there is ice on the roads so we couldn't go to school for the last two days. I really hope it is better tomorrow because I am supposed to go to LOUISVILLE. I am so excited, you don't even know! You can bet that it is going to be a lot of work, but I can handle that. I mean, we still got three days to learn the music!
Oh no, screw me! I just skipped the past two weeks and went right to all the things that are going on right now O.O. Alright now I am really gonna talk about the past two weeks:
I was very busy because of Basketball. Right now we are heading towards the end of the season but we still got a lot of games left. I had a game almost every day the last 14 days (and when we didn't have one, we had practice). Homecoming game is on Valentine's Day. I was planning on going but I figured it would be better to save my money and spend it on my prom dress! Everybody starts looking for a dress now and some already have theirs. I looked at some and most of them were pretty - and expensive. It's gonna be hard to find a pretty dress that's not that expensive! And I don't have a date either #foreveralone. I guess I am going with some friends then, it is gonna be fun anyways! :)
Our theme for Prom is........ wait for it......... wait for it........ just a little longer.............

I never completely watched the movie, I should probably do that :). All I know is, that there is going to be a lot of gold an black so it better be good!
I am a little nervous already! Time passes by waaaaaay too fast. Spring break is a few weeks, Prom is coming up and in just a little while the school year is over. By the way we are only allowed to miss two more days of school and not have to make any up. If we miss more than two, they have to extend the school year. That's fine with me :P.
Alright people, what else can I tell you, my life is not that exciting :D. School is going well. I have fun with my friends and I like most of my classes (exclude English and History). In Jewelry and Metalsmithing I started my second project. The only thing I am telling is, that it is going to be a pendant made out of three layers of metal, the rest is a surprise ;).
And I ran a mile in 6 min and 48 seconds in Intro to Fitness, I don't know if it's good or not.
Choir is alright I guess. I wouldn't take it again next year, but I love the people in my class!
By the way, I was featured in a newspaper published by my exchange organization EF. It is just a small article, but I like it :)
And by the way, i finally found some time to clean up my room *yey me* :D.
The last two saturdays I played church volleyball and I had a blast! I am excited to play volleyball whenever I go back to Germany, if it is possible at all.

Exactly, I reached the 20.000 visitors mark. It is close to 21.000 by now! I am so thankful for every single visitor. It is so good to know, that I don't just waist my time writing about my life here. It's so good to know, that people actually are interested in what's going on and that people like my blog. So, thank you again, I couldn't believe it when I saw the number!
Anyways, y'all have a great day. I'll enjoy my week out of school!! (yes, snow days Monday and Tuesday and tomorrow I leave t go to Louisville, I hope I don't miss a lot :/).
